As for the sea lions, I did a swim in Oct07, in St. Thomas and it was incredible. I'm not sure if there were poor reviews for the one in PV, if so, it's a shame.

Buyer beware, this is not a reputable company. Today, O’Leary is a travel agent offering a full suite of services from booking cruises, getting flight and hotel reservations lined up, and of course, organizing port tours. However, there have been obstacles along the way. Last summer, a tour company suddenly canceled all the tours she had arranged in the weeks leading up to some cruise tours. My husband and I did 8 excursions with Sandras Cruise Tours in Europe in July 2022.

Later, she amended that, and was only offering 50% back minus business fees. When we booked, her policy was 100% refund, if the port is missed. I make substantial deposits to operators and suppliers for the tours, entry tickets, meals etc, far in advance of the scheduled tour dates. I will use my best efforts to recover and refund the balance as soon as I possibly can. My best efforts does not include taking legal action. I cannot guarantee recovery of any or all of the advance payments made.
I'd also file a case with the credit card company to stop payment and provide them all your evidence. This can help you get your money back and may make it so that the company won't allow payments to her in the future. She advised people to claim their insurance which is fraude. We are sailing 9/21 and we've booked the wild dolphin swim in Mazatlan through J&S in large part because it is an eco-tour and our guide will be a marine biologist. I like J&S so far because they're prompt and seem well organized and their prices are really great.
This is our first cruise and I do know that I would like to book with an outside tour company. Reccomendations would be greatly appreciated. Things like this are probably why the cruise line doesn't offer excursions from them.

They do vet all operators and won't book with problematic ones. And no there was no option booking tours with carnival directly as they announced when this cruise was published there would not be any tour to book through Carnval. We went to Las Caletas about 5 yrs ago and it was wonderful. Unfortunately, it appears to have gotten much more crowded...too bad. Good luck and i'll keep an eye on this thread as I am still stumped on exactly what to book in PV. Oh, we are doing the Wild Canyon Monster Zip in Cabo...there's a great you tube video on it. Mazatlan - Again, Stone Island on your own is great.
Sandra offers the tours at prices close to what the tour operators charge her—only marking them up to account for administrative fees. All the other money she makes is based on commissions paid to her when she books hotels, airfare and cruises, which comes at no cost to her clients. We have done tours with Sandra in Singapore and Europe. The tours are very interesting and it is awesome to save $$ and get the same tours as offered by the cruise line. We had a bit of a hard time last year due to all the last minute tender ports but Sandra and her team of helpers made everything seem so smooth for all of us. Her tours are always on time and we had no worries about returning to the ship at all.
